BRIDGEPORT, Calif. (AP) — A wildfire that erupted in Northern California compelled evacuations as it threatened about 500 properties and other properties Tuesday, authorities claimed.
The Rices Fireplace erupted at about 2 p.m. in close proximity to the Yuba River in Nevada County and had spread to a lot more than 500 acres (202 hectares) by dusk, stated Device Chief Brian Estes of the California Section of Forestry and Hearth Protection.
The flames also threatened electricity lines, h2o delivery systems and a condition park, Estes claimed.

An additional hearth near Davis, west of Sacramento, was contained with no constructing harm or accidents right after burning 500 acres (202 hectares), authorities claimed.
