TOOELE COUNTY, Utah — A wildfire sparked Saturday afternoon south of Tooele is threatening constructions, has compelled evacuations and might have even harmed a smaller town’s drinking water program.
Utah Wildfire Details explained the Jacob City Fire, burning in Soldier Canyon east of Stockton, was rising promptly due to “erratic” winds and found in “quite steep rugged terrain.”
U.S. Forest Assistance officials mentioned Sunday that the fire was brought about by a generator that exploded.
As of Sunday evening, it was approximated at 3,766 acres with 14 percent containment.

The day just before, a pair of wildfires compelled evacuations in Millard County. Then on Saturday, a wildfire in Cache County forced evacuations, but they have been lifted later that same evening.
